CUMMINS Marine Engine Replacement
ANTAIOS POWER can provide you with technically customized replacement solutions for CUMMINS marine engines. We can provide replacement solutions for 3.9L-50L CUMMINS marine engines, with power outputs ranging from 30hp to 1800hp. In addition to conventional mechanically controlled marine diesel engines, we can also supply high-pressure common rail marine engines, such as the QSB3.9, QSB4.5, QSB6.7, QSL8.9, and QSL9.5.
Every marine engine supplied by ANTAIOS POWER is customized based on the information about your existing engine. We will first verify engine serial number (ESN) and use it to retrieve the relevant configuration details. We will then develop a technical solution for you.
Replaceable CUMMINS Marine Engines by Application

Main propulsion diesel engines provide the primary power for vessel operation. We currently support the replacement of CUMMINS main propulsion engines ranging from 3.9 L to 50 L.

Marine auxiliary engines provide power for other onboard equipment. The CUMMINS marine auxiliary engine models we can currently replace include the 4BT3.9, 6BT5.9, and 6LT8.9.

Marine generator engines mainly provide power for electrical equipment onboard the vessel. The CUMMINS marine generator engine models we can currently replace include the 4BT3.9-GM, 6BT5.9-GM, 6CT8.3-GM, and 6LT8.9-GM.

Why Choose Us

We can provide technical documentation to help you confirm whether the engine is compatible with your application.

We can provide customized technical solutions based on your specific application requirements.

Our engines undergo bench testing to the same standards as the original manufacturer before leaving the factory.

All our engines are assembled by high-quality parts and come with a warranty of one year or 1,200 working hours.
Confirm Your CUMMINS Marine Engine Specifications
Before confirming the configuration, we need to verify the serial number of your existing CUMMINS marine engine. Each CUMMINS engine has a unique serial number as its identification code. With the engine serial number, we can check the configuration details of your engine. The engine serial number is usually marked on the engine nameplate. If you do not know your engine serial number, please also provide a photo of the engine nameplate. Through the engine nameplate, we can verify the information obtained from the serial number to ensure that no incorrect engine is provided due to an incorrect serial number. If you are not sure how to locate the CUMMINS marine engine nameplate, please refer to the image beside or read our guide.

Confirm Your CUMMINS Marine Engine Flywheel Dimensions
To ensure that the engine you purchase can be installed on your vessel, we will also confirm the connection dimensions with you.
If you know your flywheel and flywheel housing numbers, you can send them to us directly for confirmation. If you are not sure, you can also refer to the image beside for actual measurements and provide us with your measurement data.
The flywheel section dimensions directly determine whether your CUMMINS replacement engine can be properly connected to the equipment on your vessel. Please carefully verify this information.
In addition to the flywheel dimensions, the oil pan position and the orientation of the intake and exhaust pipes can also affect engine installation. We will confirm each item with you step by step.
Design Your CUMMINS Marine Engine Replacement Technical Solution
We will review each item step by step to confirm whether a compatible CUMMINS replacement engine can be provided. If certain special configurations cannot be replaced, we will discuss possible solutions with you. Once the final solution is confirmed, our technical team will prepare a customized technical solution for you. Afterwards, we will sign a technical agreement with you, specifying all technical details of the ordered engine. Finally, based on the signed technical agreement, we will issue an inspection report for the delivered engine.
All CUMMINS marine replacement engines are customized. All customization details will be specified in the technical agreement, making the technical agreement highly important.
How Our Engines Meet OEM Quality Standards
Every engine delivered by ANTAIOS POWER undergoes bench testing in accordance with the original manufacturer’s standards before leaving our facility. We have our own in-house engine bench-testing workshop. The CUMMINS replacement marine engines we supply also undergo a standardized 8-step bench-testing process. All test data is cross-verified using both dynamometer measurements and engine sensor data to ensure accuracy. The testing program includes 18 performance tests and 5 pollutant emission tests.
After the engine testing is completed, ANTAIOS POWER will also provide you with the inspection report and test videos. To observe the engine testing on-site, please contact our service team in advance, and we will help coordinate a suitable time for your visit.
Special Configurations of CUMMINS Marine Engines

Unlike the dry intake and exhaust systems used in construction machinery, the exhaust manifold on a marine engine is externally wrapped with a water jacket, which is why it is also referred to as a wet exhaust manifold. This enables the circulation of cooling water to aid in heat dissipation.

Unlike the cooling system of a conventional water-cooled engine, marine engines typically also include special components such as a seawater-to-freshwater heat exchanger, a seawater pump, and a freshwater pump. The seawater assists in dissipating heat from the coolant.

Because seawater is corrosive, anti-corrosion treatment is also necessary for marine engines to prolong their service life.
The most important item is a clear photo of the engine nameplate. If this is unavailable, please provide the engine model, serial number, and photos of all four sides of the engine.
Yes. The parts fitted to our engines have the same specifications as the original parts, so you can purchase replacements directly from local suppliers.
